Did you know that inside CampaignSidekick you can set up a "peer to peer" email for your canvassers? This gives your walkers the chance to 1) capture voters' emails at the door (the best way to capture them) and 2) gives your walkers a chance to send a quick follow up message to them after they finish surveying voters at the door.
To set up your email message, go to Settings.
Then click on "New Email Message" (top row, right hand side).
Once you have done that, you will see two fields. The one on the right enables you to customize the message with the voter's name as well as the volunteer or walker's name who surveyed them.
Suggested fields to use are simply the voter's first name and the walker or volunteer's first name.
Your next step is to write the customized message.
It could be as simple as:
"Thank you for taking the time to chat with me at the door today. Please remember to vote on May 4th!"
Or it could have a specific call to action with an embedded link-it is up to you as an Admin to decided what you want in the body of the email.
When you are done, to save your customized email, hit "Save Message" in the bottom right hand corner.
If you make a mistake along the way, you can always hit "Clear Message" and start again from the beginning.
