To access Voter Search, click on the three bar menu option in the top right of your app.
Once you have done that, you will see the Sidekick App's internal menu. The Voter Search icon is the magnifying glass icon in the lower left labeled "Voter."
Click on it.
To search for voters, enter their full, legal name in the search field. For example, "Tom" might be "Thomas," or "Abby" might be "Abigail."
If you wish to constrain your search to a defined geographical area, toggle "Search Nearby Voters" on. Keep in mind that only a user with Admin or higher permission levels can set the geographical boundaries for nearby searches.
Once you have entered the voter's full legal name (it can be just first name and last name), you will be given a list of names of voters in the field below that match your search criteria. Keep in mind there will be voters will the same first and last name of the voter you are looking for, but with a different middle name or regnal numbers (example: "Thomas Smith IV").
Confirm the voter you are looking for by clicking on his or her name.
Once you have done that, you will be dropped into a Survey.
When you have completed your Survey, the voter will be tagged with the answers he or she gave you and that you recorded. Remember to hit "End Survey" at the end of the survey and then go back to searching for more voters.
